We celebrated the boys party with a few friends and some family. The boys loved it, totally stayed awake the whole time, never cried, oohed and ahhed about the thought I put into the decorations, loved their birthday cake, and were so grateful for their presents.
I do love any reason to celebrate though, and they are good reason, even if they didn't know it.
Balloons and party hats make everything fun, right?
The cakes! A mini tin can cake for each boy, and a larger one for the guests. The tin can cakes turned out great & were easy to make (well, so says my mom!)
Make a wish! Now this is where the fun really started...
Tuck- totally unsure about this wobbly sticky tower placed before him
Finn- completely annoyed at the sight of it, and all of us staring at him
Tuck- WHAT is this crap!
Finn- yeah, it's okay
Finn- wait, nevermind. I hate this too!
Finn- this is terrible, make it stop!
Tuck- okay wait, what is this thing again?
In the end it gave us all a good laugh, they went straight to bed, and we ate the rest of their cake:)
Thanks to these two for alllll they did that day to help me!
I'm hoping they enjoy their second birthday a bit more.
ps- I finally figured out how to reply to your comments in the comment section, so if you asked a question or just wanted to check back... that's where to look!
